Thank you for taking the time and interest to view my page.

Firstly, let's start with my life's journey, where it all began?

I have pursued this African American art form of Jazz since the age of twelve, through study at New York’s Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. As a teen, I also participated in the New York All-City Musical Organizations. Over the years I continued my education at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford Connecticut. Under the tutelage of world-renowned saxophonist Jackie McLean, I began to better understand my life's study. The Institute is now recognized as the Jackie Mclean Institute of Jazz Studies. I received a BM in Jazz Studies and an MA in Music Education from the Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music.

During my time in Hartford, I taught various ensembles and theory courses at the Artist’s Collective. In addition, I participated in the Lila Wallace Reader’s Digest Jazz Ensemble.

Some of my academic involvements have included, Assistant Jazz Ensemble Instructor at Brooklyn College. I currently co-conduct the New York All-City High School Jazz Ensemble.

Some noteworthy musicians I have performed with include Charlie Persip’s Superband, The Michael Carvin Quintet, The Frank Lacey Vibe Tribe and the Donald Smith Band. I currently freelance and perform at various venues in and around New York City.
